Wednesday Wants

My winter wardrobe is basically non existent. I was slapped in the face with what to wear this past weekend when the temps dropped to the 30’s and 40’s.

Because winter in Florida is as short lived as Goose’s attention span, I like to purchase pieces that will last several seasons.

This cardigan looks like it is as soft as butter. It’s also a prime layering piece for a multitude of outfits. I also think it would make a great lounge at home sweater. What’s better than being able to wear something for all kinds of occasions?

I really like the color blocking of this sweater. I also like that the neckline is between a mock neck and a turtle neck. For added layering throw on a fitted long sleeve bodysuit, your favorite pair of denim, and a comfy bootie and you’re set for a quick & simple winter fit. I love a good oversized turtleneck. You can pair it with almost any bottom in your closet.

This turtleneck is plush and the perfect shade of ivory. I’m all for a good winter white outfit, and could totally see myself rocking it with a pair of white skinnies, a statement shoe, and bright red lip.

I’ve had my eye on Mac Mineralize Skinfinish as a setting powder ever since Jaclyn Hill featured it in several videos eons ago. There are several beauty YouTubers who rave about this product. It is lightweight, sets your makeup flawlessly, and leaves you with a natural glow. I am SUPER into glowy skin as of lately, which is a rarity because I was a die hard matte finish gal not too long ago. What are your favorite dewy skin products?

Building off my glowy skin obsession, Juno Face Oil by Sunday Riley promises to deliver a slew of critical antioxidants, vitamins, essential amino acids, omegas 3/6/9, UV shields and natural anti-inflammatory agents for a luminous, radiant complexion. That’s a big Y-E-S from me!

I received a deluxe sample of Korres Wild Rose Instant Brightening Mask from Sephora. I typically apply it at night after a good derma roll. When I wake up my skin is supple, well hydrated, and extremely radiant. I think it’s time to cave and purchase the full size product.

Jumpsuits hold a special place in my closet. I think they are one of the easiest items in my closet to style. You can tie a button down shirt over it, throw on a denim jacket for a more casual look, and even pair it with a blazer to rock at the office. This Flynn Skye Polka Dot jumpsuit would flatter all kinds of body types and skin tones.

I popped into my hairdresser over the weekend for a quick trim and gloss. Which also mean I got a rockin’ blowout. I noticed when she was done styling my hair she sprayed this magical finishing spray all over my hair from mid length to ends. My hair felt instantly softer, looked extremely glossy, and did not feel weighed down whatsoever.

The holidays give me more of a reason to fuel my shopping addiction. There are numerous holiday parties to attend, and god forbid I repeat an outfit. This maxi would make a great party dress.

Until next time.

-xx, Lauren.
