Florida

Wednesday Wants

January 3, 2018

It may appear that I have jinxed myself saying we don’t really experience winter in Florida. It was 27* Tuesday morning. That is COLD. I know, I know. There are places experiencing negative temperatures. But these bones are used to a sticky 90* weather as a norm.

I love a good sweater, but I don’t enjoy how bulky they can be. Cue corset sweater. I can be warm and have waist? Don’t mind if I do.

I love every detail of this faux fur leopard varsity bomber. I dig the contrasting white faux fur sleeve, the stripe detailing on the cuff, neck and bottom of jacket, everything. This jacket would get some major love if it was a piece in my closet.

If you’ve read a few of my posts, you know I like Buxom’s Full-On Lip Polish. I stumbled upon their new shiny liquid lipsticks…when do you ever have those three words in a description?! Never. I can only hope this is an extremely glossy, pigmented, long wearing lip color.

I have been jonesing to decorate our spare room. We currently live in a 2/1. We don’t get visitors often, but it’s just enough for when we do. We have yet to to decorate the guest room that currently serves as storage. Not working for me anymore though. The two big pieces for the room would be a desk and a daybed. I don’t necessarily want those exact pieces, but kind of the vibe I am going for. Suggestions are welcome my interior savvy friends 🙂

I also really want a new rug for our master. We scored a steal on an 8′ x 10′ at our local HomeGoods back in South Florida. Downside is it’s ivory. You can see the high traffic areas upon entering the room. I’ve had my eye on this blush rug for quite some time.

I will try just about any facial oil. I saw an article reviewing this new one by Urban Decay and it immediately shot onto this week’s wants.

I love going to the salon in between color appointments for a simple gloss, tone, trim and blow out. I do not love the cost associated with the gloss and tone, simply because I feel like I could quite frankly do it myself I just don’t have the tools at hand. With Bumble and Bumble’s new color gloss (specifically in cool blonde for me!) I can gloss and tone at home now! YAY!!!

The Ordinary is a lost cost brand with highly rated reviews. When sold on Beautylish it took mere minutes for restocks to sell out. Good news kids, The Ordinary is now on Sephora and I can’t wait to get my hands on their retinoid emulsion!!

Any of these items making you want to click Add To Cart?

Until next time.

-xx, Lauren.
