As I’ve gotten older I find it hard to get through a book as quickly as I used to. I am challenging myself to get through one book a month this year.
I have always loved fiction books, and I haven’t spoken to anyone who doesn’t enjoy them. I know there are some outliers who don’t dig fiction, and they’re probably the same people who don’t like pizza or chocolate. Just plain weird. I’m kidding….or am I? No, I really am. Read what you wanna read.
In 2017 I began dabbling in self-improvement books, and so far I like.
Most of the fiction books I want to read are based off recommendations from friends. A few are due to the fact they have CRAZY reviews (looking at you The Nightingale). I want to read Grey because I am interested to see how it is written from Christian’s POV.
A lot of the self-improvement are ones I have had saved in an Amazon Cart since last year, and simply narrowed it down to the first six I want to tackle.
If anyone would like to join me on my 2018 reading brigade, please do! We can try a book club of sorts. I plan on alternating between fiction and self-improvement. I have started reading Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck & All The Light We Cannot See. After a few chapters of both, I decided January will be a fiction month. I also realized I’m not the type who can read two books at once.
SO, who’s joining my 2018 reading conquest?
