We came. We saw. We went bach sh*t crazy.
Not really, but we did have a great time.
All of us gals made our way to 30A and it most certainly did not disappoint.
To start, our Air BnB was absolutely fantastic. Our host, Layla, was more than accommodating, and her place is absolutely charming. I will most certainly book here again the next time I head west.
We kicked off Day 1 with a quick lunch at The Hub 30A, followed by some cocktails at home, and dinner at George’s At Alys Beach. If you had to pick one of those, George’s is the place to be. The food was fantastic, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is second to none. Plus the sunset views from the roof top were the cherry on top.
We kept the first evening somewhat low key and returned back to our digs for the weekend to drink and play games.
We got the ball rolling Saturday by taking a TRX class at Otium Studios near Rosemary Beach. Patrick kicked our asses. I like to think I am in shape and can handle high intensity. While you could tailor the movements to your own capabilities, it left me feeling wiped out but accomplished. I highly recommend a class at this location, or their newest franchise in Savannah, GA. We followed up our workout with a cool down strolling the plaza and popping in local shops.
We returned home to freshen up and hit the beach in Seaside! If you haven’t been to Seaside Square, you need to make the trip. It is tiny but packs a punch. There are tons of local eats, shops, and expansive beach front. After several rounds beach side, we grabbed lunch at the local food trucks, grabbed an uber and headed back to our Air BnB’s community pool.
Saturday night was spent watching the FSU basketball game (sighhh) at Red Bar and a few rounds of drinks at AJ’s in Grayton Beach.
We decided to call it a semi early night and have a dance party back at our abode.
Sunday we decided to have one more glutinous meal at The Donut Hole. While their weren’t any cocktails to culminate the weekend, there is PLENTY of delicious items on their menu.
While I am leaving out a ton of little details, there is one take away from this whole weekend…..
When are we going back ladies?!
