Another day, another dollar, another Monday.
I have been SLACKING hard with my fitness. I am normally pretty diligent about getting my keester to the gym and eating well 90% of the time. It’s been almost three months of carelessness and I am feeling it.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not sitting on my ass and eating any and everything (even though it feels like it sometimes).
I’ve been maybe getting 1-3 workouts a week in, if that. And definitely eating my fair share of “treat meals” in a week. I feel bleh.
I always look back on the lifestyle I had in college and wonder how I functioned the way I did. If I ate like that now I would feel like a cinderblock of laziness. Seriously. Whenever I don’t work out and eat less than outstanding I just feel so out of whack. My energy levels tank, my mood certainly sucks even if I’m not putting it out onto you, and the stress of all that causes my body to hold onto more.
I’m ready to kick my ass into gear. I’m tired of feeling like a bum. For a while my friend Griff & I were using each out for accountability check ins. We both set individual goals and reached out when we needed a push or praise. Get ready Griff, because were getting back on it!
I really want to document this for you all if it’s something you’re interested in. It definitely won’t be the most riveting material food wise because I tend to eat a lot of the same, but I would love to share what I do to whip it into shape and also maintain some form of sanity and balance.
I also know that I am “in shape” but I DEFINITELY do not feel my best.
Is this something you all are interested in following? Do you want to learn more as to why I eat a certain way or work out a certain way? What do you want to see more of from a dietary & fitness standpoint?
ALSO don’t forget I have a giveaway going on that ends TONIGHT at 11:59pm. Here’s how to enter:
