Can you believe Sephora has already begun launching holiday gift sets?! Where the heck did the year go…
Let’s get the ball rolling.
I have never tried Fenty’s Stunna Lip Paint when it first launched in their signature red shade. I have only heard wonderful things about the brand as a whole, and I’m so happy they are coming out with more everyday shades like Uncuffed pictured above. I’m not saying you can’t wear red everyday, but a nice mauve shade is a bit more functional with an assortment of outfits.
I have had the same tweezers for what seems like my entire life. I don’t know how I haven’t lost it yet, but it’s holding strong. With various moves, travels, and life tweezers tend to get dull. I think it’s about time I invested in a new set, and this duo + case is both utilitarian and makes a pop so it’s easy to find in a drawer of endless beauty items.
I’m a huge fan of dermarolling and my jade roller. Dermarollers have tiny little needles all over them that create tiny little “injuries” to your face which boosts production of chemicals released to “repair” those injuries. Jade rolling helps with lymphatic drainage and the jade itself is supposed to bring certain energies and healing properties to where it is applied. The Skin Gym Face Roller is meant to combine the two without actually puncturing your skin. This saves time and limited space in my growing assortment of skin care products!
L’occitane products are known for their exceptional ability to hydrate your skin and they are a luxury item in my eyes. This holiday gift set is quite a steal in my opinion. You are able to have a set of full size products as well as travel sized items to take with you as you see fit. You can even use the travel sized items as stocking stuffers or white elephant gifts. It’s a great way to treat yourself or share with others. Plus the Almond scent is a cult favorite.
I keep my skin and makeup products that I use daily in our master bathroom. Our master bath doesn’t have a door to it, which means mine and Victor’s opposite schedule poses more of an inconvenience to Victor who is a light sleeper. I do have a guest bath as well as an office but not the right storage in either. Something like this Impressions Vanity storage piece on my desk would allow me to organize my daily used products, and allow Victor to sleep in peace.
I have used the Boscia cleansing oil before and really, really enjoyed it. You need to follow up with an actual cleanser afterwards, but it is very good at removing all traces of makeup. Not only do I love the new packaging from Boscia, but you get three great products in this set for practically the price of one. For instance, the Boscia cleansing oil is $32 by itself. The set is $39. For just $7 more you are able to try three well rated items from Boscia.
I am a sucker for a great highlight. I haven’t heard of the brand Kaja, and it appears to be new as a whole on Sephora. Their Mochi Glow Bounce Highlighter has a near perfect 5 star review already, as do most of the other products on the site. A lot of the reviews boast a natural sheen over a chunky, glittery finish. Isn’t that what we all want in a highlight?!
I have heard of rose water sprays for your face but NEVER for your hair. I’ve also never associated volumizing sprays with being hydrating. Christophe Robin is known for his products that help maintain and enhance your color and this volumizing spray claims to be no different. It protects your color, nourishes you hair, and promises to bring volume to your limp locks. I’m sure the rose water makes it smell fantastic also.
There are a handful of brands releasing all over glow powders and I cannot get enough. I feel like Charlotte Tilbury kind of got the luminous glow powder train going. My favorite is Lancome Absolue Powder in Peche. I just saw on Sephora that Marc Jacobs has release their own all over glow powder. What makes this one stand out from the others is the others are a translucent powder that leaves a radiant finish. As you can see from the Marc Jacobs it is far from translucent. I definitely need to get my hands on this powder.
Until next time.
